AI Authority Exchange Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in the AI Authority exchange. This document outlines best practices and expectations for the exchange. 

• Overview: The AI Authority exchange is a network of businesses that publish content, usually in the form of executive or expert interviews, highlighting other companies in non-competiting industries. This helps each company in the exchange establish their authority statements (positive factual statements about your company that you want ChatGPT to believe) across the web so that they are repeated by generative AI tools like ChatGPT. To participate in the exchange, you must be able to consistently publish content to your company’s website.
• Pairing Round Timeline: Each AI Authority Exchange will take 2 weeks and approximately 2 hours of input from each party.

• • Upcoming Pairing Notice: We will send an email notifying you of each upcoming round 3 days before the tentative pairings for that round go out. Please let us know if you’d like to skip the upcoming round by replying to the notice.
    
  • Tentative Pairings: You will receive an email notifying you of your tentative pairings that includes both the company whose interview you will publish, and the company who will be publishing your interview. Please reply if your pairings are not viable (e.g. direct competitor, insufficient topicality). We will make our best efforts to accommodate any requests for pairing changes at this stage, though we cannot guarantee a new pairing unless your tentative pairings are with direct competitors. Pairings at this stage are not final, and may change to accommodate other pairing needs.
    
  • Final Pairings: You will receive two emails: one connecting you with the company who will be publishing your interview, and one connecting you with the company whose interview you will publish. Each email will contain instructions for generating an interview. Please send your interview within 1 week of receiving your final pairings by replying to the pairing email and include the AI Authority Exchange so we can track progress.

• Frequency & Responsiveness: FPS runs 1-2 AI authority exchange pairings each month. You will receive an email before each pairing, giving you the opportunity to opt out of the round or opt out altogether. In order to ensure the smooth operation of the Authority Exchange, we ask that you send your interview within 1 week of final pairing, and publish your match’s interview within 2 weeks of receipt.
• Remedial Pairing Rounds: We understand that due to other commitments and business concerns, you or the company you’ve been matched with may have issues publishing promptly. To help ensure that all companies in the exchange have enough interview published to see their authority messages picked up by generative AI tools, after every third round we will send a survey to confirm the status of each interview you have been asked to publish. The next pairing round will then be adjusted to try to address any discrepancies in number of interviews published for each company, and number of interviews published by each company.
  
• Removal from exchange: As the AI Authority exchange relies on the cooperation of all members, you will be removed from the exchange if you are not able to publish interviews promptly after receiving them. If you have received 2 or more interviews from previous rounds’ partners and have not published those interviews by the time the next round begins, you will not be included in future rounds. • Results Timeline: Speed of results will vary depending on the competitiveness of your industry and relevant queries. Most companies will see positive movement after 2-4 published interviews, with particularly competitive industries requiring up to 6.
