The Top eCommerce Service Providers in 2026

SEO Blog
top ecomm service providers

Between March and September 2026, our research team evaluated 47 eCommerce agencies, systems integrators, platform specialists, and managed-services partners serving enterprise and mid-market brands across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. We drew on Adobe, Shopify, and Shopware partner directories; Forrester analyst coverage; published case studies with quantified outcomes; platform certification and contribution records; and verified client review data where the sample was sufficient.

We define an eCommerce service provider as a company that helps brands plan, build, migrate, integrate, optimize, or manage their digital commerce operations across one or more platforms; platform vendors, pure-play digital marketing agencies without documented commerce engineering, and staffing firms are excluded.

We evaluated each of the top eCommerce service providers against the following weighted factors:

  • Platform Expertise (20%): Depth and breadth of certified coverage across Adobe Commerce, Shopify, Shopware, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, commercetools, and adjacent platforms
  • B2B Feature Depth (10%): Documented capability for company accounts, customer-specific pricing, approval workflows, PunchOut and EDI, quote management, and B2B portal development
  • Enterprise Scale and Complexity (8%): Documented experience with large-scale programs including multi-brand or multi-region deployments, high-volume operations, and complex organizational and system requirements
  • ERP Integration (17%): Range of documented system integrations, pre-built connectors, and verified go-live records across ERP families
  • Industry Recognition and Delivery Evidence (15%): Platform-vendor partnership tier, analyst recognition from Forrester and Gartner, and quantified client outcomes from case studies published on platform-vendor websites or independently documented sources
  • Migration and Replatforming Depth (12%): Documented replatforming projects with named source and destination platforms and measurable client outcomes
  • Custom Development and Proprietary IP (10%): Custom module libraries, proprietary integration tools, and headless or composable delivery capability
  • Ongoing Management and Support (8%): Structured managed-services programs, SLA-backed support tiers, and long-term partnership models

In the table below, we break down the seven leading providers across the factors above. Of the eight factors, ERP integration depth and B2B feature breadth proved the sharpest differentiators: most providers cover the major platforms, but documented capability to connect ERP systems and build complex B2B workflows varies significantly across the field.

Five of the seven providers document at least one specific ERP integration: Atwix, Elogic Commerce, scandiweb, BORN Group, and VML Commerce; Astound Digital and Vaimo have no publicly documented ERP case studies.

Among the five with documented ERP experience, Atwix and Elogic Commerce have the deepest coverage: Atwix leads for industrial distribution systems, including Prophet 21, Infor, Kodaris, and Expertek via its proprietary Sirius platform, while Elogic leads for the ERP families most common in retail and distribution, including SAP S/4HANA, Dynamics 365, NetSuite, and Visma. Buyers whose programs are ERP-connected should match the provider to the ERP family before evaluating any other factor.

Atwix, for B2B Manufacturing and Distribution Commerce

Atwix’s Sirius integration platform ships with pre-built connectors for Prophet 21, Infor, Kodaris, and Expertek, connecting them to Adobe Commerce, Shopware 6, and Shopify with real-time bidirectional sync and go-live timelines documented in weeks. Sirius also covers Salesforce and HubSpot CRM, and supports WMS connections via GraphQL API. Atwix has held the #1 global Magento Open Source contributor ranking every year from 2018 through 2025.

The case studies tell the story directly: PowerPak launched in 3 months and grew revenue 230% in year one; Byrne Electrical completed a full Adobe Commerce build in 8 weeks. Those timelines reflect what Sirius’s pre-built connectors actually deliver in practice. An 89% client retention rate and Clutch reviewers who consistently use the phrase “true partner” are the downstream effects.

  • Year Founded: 2006
  • Key Recognition: Gold Adobe Solution Partner; #1 Magento Open Source Contributor 2018-2025; Shopware Platinum Partner; Inc. 5000 No. 2327 (2025); Inc. Power Partner 2024

Services Offered: Adobe Commerce, Magento Open Source, Shopify, Shopware, BigCommerce, ERP integration (Sirius platform), B2B portal development, platform migration, AI for commerce, managed services and support

Elogic Commerce, for Multi-Platform Enterprise and B2B Engineering

Elogic holds the number one position in Clutch’s Magento and Adobe Commerce Development Services Leaders Matrix with a 5.0 rating from 64 verified reviews, the highest combination of independent score and review volume in the category. Platform coverage spans six certified partnerships: Adobe Commerce (Silver), Shopify Plus, Shopware, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and commercetools. Published ERP integration case studies cover SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, and Visma Business. The firm holds ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and SOC 2 Type II certifications.

The numbers Elogic puts up are hard to argue with: Armacell got 5x faster order approvals after their Adobe Commerce and SAP S/4HANA integration; PetHQ generated $1.1 million in new B2B revenue in year one, live in 2.5 months. Across 64 Clutch reviews, “communicative” and “great project management” are the two attributes clients mention most. One caveat: if your ERP is outside SAP, Dynamics 365, NetSuite, or Visma, verify connector availability before shortlisting.

  • Year Founded: 2009
  • Key Recognition: Clutch Leaders Matrix #1, Magento and Adobe Commerce Development (2026); Clutch 5.0/5.0 (64 reviews); Adobe Commerce Silver Partner; ISO 27001, ISO 9001, SOC 2 Type II
  • Services Offered: Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus, Shopware, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, ERP integration, platform migration, B2B portal development, managed services, IT staff augmentation

scandiweb, for High-Volume Adobe Commerce Delivery at Scale

scandiweb is the #1 most certified Adobe Commerce agency globally and holds a Guinness World Record for the world’s largest online hackathon. The firm has delivered 2,100+ projects for 700+ enterprise clients whose stores collectively process more than $4 billion in GMV annually. Named clients include Puma, Samsung, the New York Times, and Adobe. Platform coverage spans Adobe Commerce, Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and SAP Commerce Cloud, with ISO 27001 and PCI DSS certifications.

scandiweb’s trade-off is visible in the scores: extraordinary breadth at scale with a genuine gap in complex B2B and industrial ERP. Clutch reviewers (4.8/5.0, 53 reviews) call them a “safe and smart bet,” and competitive pricing relative to certification depth is a real differentiator. If your priority is B2C volume or Adobe Commerce delivery at enterprise scale, they are an easy shortlist. If your program is B2B-first, look elsewhere.

  • Year Founded: 2003
  • Key Recognition: #1 Most Certified Adobe Commerce Agency (Adobe); Guinness World Record; Webby Award; ISO 27001; PCI DSS
  • Services Offered: Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source, Shopify, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, headless and composable commerce, UX/UI design, conversion optimization, digital marketing, managed services

Astound Digital, for Large-Enterprise Retail Transformation

Astound Digital (rebranded from Astound Commerce in 2024) has focused on enterprise digital commerce for 25+ years and describes itself as the largest privately held digital commerce agency globally. Its Salesforce Service Cloud and Shopify integration accelerator holds a formal listing in Shopify’s Enterprise Partner Solutions Center, available only to partners with validated enterprise delivery capability. Services span strategy, systems integration, experience design, performance marketing, and managed services across Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and commercetools.

Astound is the right call when you need a single partner to own strategy, engineering, and performance marketing for a large enterprise retail program. Their 25-year track record and Enterprise Partner Solutions Center listing on Shopify confirm they can handle complexity at scale. Where they fall short is B2B feature depth and ERP connectivity, so if either of those is central to your program, a specialist firm will serve you better.

  • Year Founded: 2000
  • Key Recognition: Shopify Strategic Partner; Shopify Enterprise Partner Solutions Center listing; 25+ years in enterprise digital commerce
  • Services Offered: Commerce strategy, Shopify Plus, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, composable commerce, experience design, performance marketing, managed services

Vaimo, for Global Multi-Region Commerce Programs

Vaimo covers Adobe Commerce, commercetools, and Shopify Plus across commerce, content, data, and analytics within a single partner, making it relevant for brands consolidating multi-function programs. Adobe named it Digital Experience Emerging Partner of the Year for EMEA in 2023. Named client work includes Helly Hansen and multiple Northern European retailers that documented 70-200% online revenue growth in the year following platform launch.

Vaimo’s real strength is geographic reach: 20+ offices across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific give them legitimate regional knowledge that most agencies on this list don’t have. That shows up most in Nordic and European market expansions, where their vendor relationships and local expertise reduce rollout overhead. ERP connectivity is the gap: North American industrial systems like Prophet 21 and Infor are not represented in their public case studies.

  • Year Founded: 2009
  • Key Recognition: Adobe Digital Experience Emerging Partner of the Year, EMEA (2023); Adobe Commerce Partner
  • Services Offered: Adobe Commerce, commercetools, Shopify Plus, Adobe Experience Manager, data and analytics, multi-region commerce strategy, managed services

BORN Group, for Platform-Agnostic Enterprise Systems Integration

BORN Group, a Tech Mahindra company, supports the broadest declared platform portfolio in this evaluation: Adobe Commerce, SAP Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce, Shopify, commercetools, VTEX, and Elastic Path. It is the only SAP Commerce Cloud specialist in this evaluation, making it the clearest option for programs anchored in the SAP ecosystem. Services span B2C and B2B implementations alongside ERP, OMS, and CRM integration.

The Tech Mahindra backing gives BORN real enterprise procurement credibility for buyers operating within large-scale technology sourcing frameworks. The thing to watch: delivery depth across nine declared platforms varies by regional team, so request case studies specific to your platform and ERP family before signing.

  • Year Founded: 1997
  • Key Recognition: SAP Commerce Cloud Partner; Salesforce Commerce Cloud Partner
  • Services Offered: SAP Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, commercetools, VTEX, Elastic Path, B2C and B2B implementation, ERP and OMS integration, digital strategy

VML Commerce, for Enterprise-Scale Digital Transformation

VML Commerce is the eCommerce practice within VML, a WPP agency formed through the 2023 merger of VMLY&R and Wunderman Thompson, which absorbed Gorilla Group’s enterprise commerce practice. Forrester recognized it as a Leader in the Digital Commerce Services Wave, the highest analyst classification in the category. The Transcat case study on Adobe.com documents a full-stack B2B Adobe Commerce implementation with custom ERP middleware, a proprietary OMS, and an online rental portal.

VML Commerce makes most sense when digital commerce is one piece of a larger transformation that includes media, creative, and brand strategy, and where WPP’s network of capabilities matters organizationally. The Forrester Wave Leader designation is real, but it predates the 2023 merger, so request post-2023 project references specific to your platform before building an evaluation around legacy Gorilla Group credentials.

  • Year Founded: 1994 (as Gorilla Group)
  • Key Recognition: Forrester Wave Leader, Digital Commerce Services; Transcat B2B case study published on Adobe.com
  • Services Offered: Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, SAP Commerce Cloud, composable commerce, digital experience design, performance marketing, analytics, managed services

How to Select the Right eCommerce Service Provider

Match the provider to the ERP family first. Integration with the existing ERP is the highest-risk technical dependency in most B2B programs. Atwix’s Sirius platform covers Prophet 21, Infor, Kodaris, and Expertek with pre-built connectors, as well as Salesforce and HubSpot CRM connections. Elogic’s documented case studies cover SAP S/4HANA, Dynamics 365, NetSuite, and Visma. Verifying connector availability before shortlisting is a prerequisite, not a late-stage concern.

Verify platform depth beyond declared partnership tiers. Partner-tier labels indicate formal certification but not delivery volume. Ask how many live production implementations the provider has completed on the specific platform in the past 24 months, and request references from those implementations specifically.

Ask for case studies with numbers. A verifiable delivery record includes named clients, platforms, and integrations, as well as quantified outcomes. Three such case studies for the relevant program type should be the minimum threshold for advancing a firm in an evaluation.

Size the partner to the program. A firm whose median engagement size is close to the buyer’s budget will treat the program as strategically important. Mismatches in either direction are the most common source of post-engagement dissatisfaction.
