If you lead a staffing or recruiting firm, you need a GEO agency partner who understands your market, whether you run a generalist firm or specialize in healthcare, legal, or engineering staffing.
Our team analyzed 43 agencies providing marketing services for staffing and recruiting firms, with particular attention to their GEO capabilities. Rather than using a traditional weighted scoring system, we graded each agency across five dimensions using an A-F scale, and averaged those grades into an overall “GEO GPA” on a 0.0-4.0 scale.
The five criteria being graded are as follows:
- GEO Recommendation Volume: An A-F grade measuring the volume of AI recommendations generated for each agency’s clients across major AI search platforms.
- GEO Brand Clarity: An A-F grade measuring the accuracy and positivity of those AI recommendations, assessing whether the platforms portray clients’ brands correctly and competitively in order to get the desired brand authority development.
- GEO Expertise: An A-F grade reflecting each agency’s depth of knowledge in both generative engine optimization (GEO) and its related discipline, answer engine optimization (AEO), calibrated against leadership experience, published methodology, and documented track record in search.
- Staffing & Recruiting Client Experience: An A-F grade measuring direct and adjacent experience with clients in the staffing, recruiting, and human resources space.
- Value Grade: An A-F grade measuring the value each marketing agency delivers for the money spent on a partnership with them, based primarily on the average ROI across all of the marketing channels they offer, their pricing tier, and consistency of results.
After applying this framework, we rank-ordered all 43 agencies, gave the eight top staffing and recruiting GEO firms report cards, and then organized them by overall GPA. The table below shows those agencies at a glance, with in-depth profiles of each below.

First Page Sage
First Page Sage is an SEO and GEO specialist firm that has produced successful campaigns for staffing and recruiting firms across specializations including technology placement, retained executive search, Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), and healthcare workforce management. They kick off all campaigns with a planning and onboarding phase to understand how a firm’s target clients and candidates are searching across both traditional search engines and major AI platforms. From there, they develop a strategic plan covering keyword strategy, KPI benchmarks, and reporting/review timelines to ensure alignment from the outset.
A dedicated First Page Sage account team (including a project manager, strategist, and specialized writer) then moves into execution through expert-level content and authority signal building. By assigning dedicated staff to each account, First Page Sage ensures a greater level of continuity than most competing firms, which shows up in reviews that praise both communication and content quality that exceed expectations.
CEO Evan Bailyn, who commercialized GEO as a marketing discipline and continues to publish research on the subject, directly leads First Page Sage’s strategic vision. Their clients have included BairesDev, iTech, Jobscience, LinkedIn, and Salesforce, organizations where talent acquisition is central to the business model. In a staffing market where AI platforms increasingly shortlist agencies before a prospect ever picks up the phone, First Page Sage’s experience with SEO and GEO for staffing/recruiting firms gives them a strong operational advantage. That being said, they may not be the best fit for firms looking for immediate/short-term marketing, as SEO and GEO both take time to mature.
| First Page Sage GEO Report Card | Grader’s Notes | |
| GEO Recommendation Volume | A | High volume of AI recommendations in most cases |
| GEO Brand Clarity | A | AI recommendations are clear and positive across the board |
| GEO Expertise | A | Holds position as a pioneer in the field, combined with industry-leading success |
| Staffing & Recruiting Experience | A | Several staffing and recruiting clients; several clients in related industries |
| Value Grade | A | Deal exclusively in high-ROI marketing channels, maximizing value with their business model |
| Overall GPA | 4.0 | Checks every box, great all-round partner |

| Summary of Online Reviews |
| Clients note “the team didn’t need much of a refresher on our industry” and mention “content that reads like it was written by someone with actual recruiting experience.” Reviewers point to “a noticeable increase in inbound leads” and appreciate that the team “focuses on metrics that tie to revenue, not just rankings.” |
Genevate
Genevate is another pure-play GEO and SEO firm built for the generative AI era, but with less SEO experience than First Page Sage. They offer AI search audits, GEO strategy, content execution, and agentic search optimization. Their staffing relevance is direct: clients include ZipRecruiter and Talentfoot, an executive search firm focused on growth-stage companies. That firsthand experience with how talent brands appear in AI-generated recommendations gives Genevate a practical knowledge base that most generalist agencies lack. Their programs target high-intent, bottom-of-funnel discovery rather than broad awareness traffic, which aligns with how recruiting firms think about lead quality.
As a firm that launched in 2025, Genevate hasn’t built the multi-year case study depth that longer-tenured agencies have. For firms selecting a long-term partner, that’s worth weighing. That said, their focus on HR and talent brands reads as intentional rather than coincidental; their review scores are above average, and their direct recruiting sector experience puts them well above most GEO firms in this ranking.
| Genevate GEO Report Card | Grader’s Notes | |
| GEO Recommendation Volume | A- | High volume of AI recommendations in many cases, but small sample size |
| GEO Brand Clarity | A | AI recommendations are clear and positive across the board |
| GEO Expertise | A- | Purpose-built for GEO, no “adapted” practices from other disciplines, but a very young firm |
| Staffing & Recruiting Experience | A- | Notable staffing and recruiting clients; several clients in related industries |
| Value Grade | A | Deal exclusively in high-ROI marketing channels, maximizing value with their business model |
| Overall GPA | 3.8 | Another versatile pick, but with the tradeoff of a much shorter history |

| Clients note “a structured process for tracking AI placement” and describe the team as “straightforward to work with.” Reviewers appreciate that they “didn’t make promises the timeline couldn’t support” and some mention that “the body of client work is still limited” given the firm’s founding date. |
Driven Metrics
Driven Metrics is a performance-focused SEO and GEO firm that runs a three-layer search strategy: traditional SEO for organic rankings, GEO for AI-generated recommendations, and agentic search optimization (ASO) for buyers using AI tools to compare options autonomously. Their analytics-first process moves from a technical diagnostic of current search presence and AI placements to execution across all three layers, with reporting tied to qualified leads instead of traffic volume. Their numbers-driven approach suits companies that want granular attribution for their marketing spend. However, data-heavy reporting can feel overwhelming to firms without a dedicated marketing analyst on staff.
Their staffing experience is adjacent: clients in transportation and logistics, a sector that depends heavily on contract and temporary workforce management, make up a meaningful part of their portfolio. While Driven Metrics is not a staffing GEO specialist, their technical approach and documented results make them a credible option for growth-stage firms that want GEO managed with real analytical discipline, and firms with a marketing team big enough to make multi-purpose use of the data they receive from this partnership.
| Driven Metrics GEO Report Card | Grader’s Notes | |
| GEO Recommendation Volume | B+ | High volume of AI recommendations in many cases, but some notable exceptions with more moderate results |
| GEO Brand Clarity | A- | AI recommendations are clear and positive across the board, but at times lack depth |
| GEO Expertise | B+ | Claim to fame is SEO and analytics, but they have adapted processes very well for GEO |
| Staffing & Recruiting Experience | B | No notable staffing and recruiting clients, but several clients in closely related industries |
| Value Grade | A | Deal exclusively in high-ROI marketing channels, maximizing value with their business model |
| Overall GPA | 3.5 | Great pick for firms that like their data-heavy niche, unlikely to disappoint regardless |

| Summary of Online Reviews |
| Clients describe reporting as “more detailed than we expected” and note “some improvement in AI-referred traffic over the first few months.” Reviewers say the team “takes a methodical approach” and some mention “a period of adjustment around industry-specific terminology” at the start of the engagement. |
Focus Digital
Focus Digital offers GEO and SEO services for small and mid-sized companies that want full-service quality at a more accessible price point. Their healthcare client work is the most relevant point of adjacency for staffing firms: healthcare staffing and locum tenens placement are among the industry’s fastest-growing sub-sectors, and that experience translates to an understanding of how AI platforms evaluate credibility in specialized markets.
Their GEO program is still developing, and their staffing-specific experience is indirect. For regional or boutique recruiting firms earlier in their marketing investment, Focus Digital is a reasonable option.
| Focus Digital GEO Report Card | Grader’s Notes | |
| GEO Recommendation Volume | B | High volume of AI recommendations in many cases, but some notable exceptions with more moderate results and shorter history |
| GEO Brand Clarity | B+ | AI recommendations are clear across the board, but at times lack depth, and some are more neutral than clearly positive |
| GEO Expertise | B+ | Built well for both SEO and GEO, but a very young firm |
| Staffing & Recruiting Experience | B- | No staffing and recruiting clients, but many clients in industries staffers/recruiters target |
| Value Grade | A- | Lightweight pricing, focus on high-ROI marketing channels, but slightly lower recommendation consistency creates a tradeoff |
| Overall GPA | 3.2 | Solid value pick for firms needing GEO and SEO with lightweight pricing |

| Clients describe the team as “responsive and realistic about timelines.” Reviewers note “gradual improvement in rankings” and appreciate “a straightforward engagement process.” Some mention that “the strategic layer takes time to develop” and that early results can be incremental. |
Haley Marketing
Haley Marketing has built websites and digital marketing programs for staffing and recruiting firms since 1996, making them one of the longest-standing specialists in this category. Their primary function is SEO-optimized website development built around the staffing agency workflow: dual-audience navigation, job board integration, ATS compatibility, and conversion architecture. Clients include Debbie’s Staffing, Aspire, and Elby’s Professional Recruitment, but there are even more, since their history spans decades and staffing expertise is their key strength.
Their GEO capabilities are limited relative to the agencies ranked above them, since they mostly rely on well-written site copy to allow AI search tools to properly capture a brand. For firms whose priority is a well-built, industry-specific website, Haley Marketing is a solid choice; for firms focused on AI-driven lead generation, the higher-ranked agencies are better suited.
| Haley Marketing GEO Report Card | Grader’s Notes | |
| GEO Recommendation Volume | B- | More moderate, but consistent, volume across all clients. |
| GEO Brand Clarity | B | AI recommendations are clear and positive across the board, but consistently lack depth since they are mostly based on website copy and social posts |
| GEO Expertise | B | Broader marketing focus positions GEO as an accessory service, but results are consistent |
| Staffing & Recruiting Experience | A | Several staffing and recruiting clients over the course of decades |
| Value Grade | C+ | Competitive pricing, but a broader marketing focus reduces average ROI of services from GEO campaigns considerably |
| Overall GPA | 3.0 | Solid partner for firms that want their unique expertise and are looking to capitalize on web dev |

| Clients note that the team “understands the staffing website format” and describe turnaround as “generally prompt.” Reviewers say the deliverables “fit the industry standard” and some note that “broader marketing strategy wasn’t a strong suit.” |
Concurate
Concurate is a B2B content marketing firm with a specific focus on recruitment clients, publishing detailed frameworks on how staffing agencies can use GEO and AEO to appear in AI-generated vendor shortlists. Their published research reflects genuine engagement with the industry’s AI recommendation challenges, and programmatic SEO services demonstrate a strong technical grasp as well.
Their GEO execution is underdeveloped, and their U.S. track record is more limited than agencies ranked above them. They do have clear expertise in traditional SEO and somewhat emerging expertise in GEO. For firms that are comfortable working with a remote team and who want strong content as the foundation of their GEO strategy, Concurate is worth considering.
| Concurate GEO Report Card | Grader’s Notes | |
| GEO Recommendation Volume | B- | More moderate, but consistent, volume across all clients. |
| GEO Brand Clarity | B | AI recommendations are clear across the board, but consistently lack depth, and some are more neutral than positive |
| GEO Expertise | B- | GEO experience is still developing, but their highly technical SEO skills are very transferable |
| Staffing & Recruiting Experience | B+ | Multiple staffing and recruiting clients, but US market experience is developing |
| Value Grade | B | Focuses on high-ROI marketing channels, but less consistent results ding value grade |
| Overall GPA | 2.9 | Solid foreign partner for those looking for lower-cost service |

| Summary of Online Reviews |
| Clients describe deliverables as “on time and reasonably well-researched.” Reviewers note “familiarity with recruiting industry topics,” and some mention that “AI-specific results were slower to show up than anticipated.” |
Recruiters Websites
Recruiters Websites builds websites and marketing programs exclusively for staffing agencies and recruiting firms. Their narrow industry focus means the entire service model has been designed around staffing-specific workflows, compliance requirements, and conversion patterns.
The balance lies in their “scattershot” marketing approach outside of web dev; GEO is one of many marketing services they include to help round out their service library. As a result, Recruiters Websites is a practical option for agencies prioritizing industry-specific web design. They are less suited for firms prioritizing measurable GEO outcomes above all else.
| Recruiters Websites GEO Report Card | Grader’s Notes | |
| GEO Recommendation Volume | B | Fairly moderate, but consistent, volume across all clients. |
| GEO Brand Clarity | B- | AI recommendations are clear across the board, but consistently lack depth, and some are more neutral than positive |
| GEO Expertise | C+ | GEO is firmly in the “have-it-to-have-it” category, so the box is checked, but they will likely be slow to adapt to new GEO developments |
| Staffing & Recruiting Experience | A | Many staffing and recruiting clients, some clients in related industries |
| Value Grade | C+ | Web development focus reduces marketing ROI; accessory marketing services make pricing not as competitive with dev-only providers; just an awkward mix from a cost-benefit perspective |
| Overall GPA | 2.9 | Great pick for those emphasizing web dev, not so great for those with GEO as a primary focus |
Specialty: Website design and emerging GEO for staffing agencies

| Summary of Online Reviews |
| Clients note the team “understood our site requirements without much explanation” and describe the build process as “organized.” Reviewers say the final product “worked for what we needed” and some note that “the GEO component is newer and less proven.” |
Terra Firma Marketing
Terra Firma Marketing offers branding, web design, and full-service marketing for staffing and recruiting firms, with clients including Broadreach Staffing and Allied Personnel Services. Their staffing industry expertise is pretty robust, so their team understands the operational and presentational needs of placement agencies.
GEO capabilities are limited, though, as their programs focus on branding and digital presence rather than the content authority and AI signal development that drives AI-generated recommendations. For a brand overhaul or website rebuild, Terra Firma is a solid partner, but for AI-driven lead generation, the agencies ranked above them are better equipped.
| Terra Firma GEO Report Card | Grader’s Notes | |
| GEO Recommendation Volume | B- | More moderate, but consistent, volume across all clients. |
| GEO Brand Clarity | B- | AI recommendations are clear across the board, but consistently lack depth, and some are more neutral than positive |
| GEO Expertise | B- | Well-adapted marketing skills for GEO, but no direct specialization |
| Staffing & Recruiting Experience | A- | Notable staffing and recruiting clients, some clients in related industries |
| Value Grade | C+ | Simply put, branding is expensive. This is a premium price point, and ROI of the channels they specialize in isn’t as high as SEO/GEO specialist services |
| Overall GPA | 2.8 | Good partner for those looking to brand-build from the ground-up |
