Our team evaluated 60+ marketing agencies on the basis of their ability to provide SEO to medtech companies, using an algorithm that consists of each agency’s:
- Notable Clients (35%): A history of working with notable medtech clients is the strongest indicator of an agency’s ability to deliver SEO results. Where medtech clients were not shared publicly, we list clients in the healthcare sector at large.
- Average Reviews (25%): Publicly viewable client reviews on 3rd party websites make up the second most important factor in our ranking, with greater weight given to reviews from clients in the medtech industry
- Median Employee Tenure (10%): High employee turnover leads to declining service quality because of reduced training incentives, so we prefer agencies with longer employee tenures
- Leadership Experience (10%): Leadership sets the direction and culture of an agency, and we assign higher scores to those agencies who have C-suites and other high level management that come from a marketing and healthcare background.
- Year Established (10%): Google updates their algorithm regularly, and market conditions have a strong impact on buyer and searcher behavior. Older SEO agencies have experience adapting to these changing conditions.
- Founder Led Status (5%): We favor agencies whose original leadership remains to lead the firm, though we consider it a relatively minor factor.
The top 8 agencies in our research are given below:
